    1. Why do I need to register?
      2. In order to purchase and read the eBooks in the Kar-Ben eBookstore, you need to register and create your account. Make sure to remember your username and password as you will need these credentials to read your eBook on both the Kar-Ben eBookstore and the Apple iPad app.

    2. How can I change my account password?
      3. After logging in to your account, click on the 'My Folder' link at the top of the page. From there, click on 'Profile Settings' and then on 'Change Password'. You will be asked to supply your current password, and then you will need to enter your new password twice. Click 'Update'when you are finished.

    3. I forgot my account password. What should I do?

      4. On the main page, where the user log-in box is, click on the link that says 'Forgot Password'.  Enter in your username and click 'submit'. An email will be mailed to you containing your login credentials. If you cannot remember your username, select 'Email ID' from the dropdown menu and enter your email address. An email will then be sent to you.

      5. After logging in to your account on the Kar-Ben eBookstore, click on 'My Profile'. This will take you to your profile page. On the profile page, you will see a 'My Order History' tab. Click on 'View' to see the details of your order.

      2. The Kar-Ben eBookstore accepts most major credit cards. You may use Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit cards for your purchase.

      3. No. The Kar-Ben eBookstore does not collect or store your credit card information. All the transaction information is processed by PayPal over a secure connection.

      4. Once you place your order and provide your credit card information, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail with the order details as soon as your payment has been processed successfully.

      8. To read an eBook, log in to your account and go to the 'My Bookshelf' section. Click on the the image of the book to open the book in the eReader. You can also download the Kar-Ben eReader app for the Apple iPad and view the books on this device as well.

    8. What is the Kar-Ben eBook Reader?

      9. The Kar-Ben eBook Reader is an application which allows you to read eBook content using a browser. This reader emulates and displays the eBook content as it appears in a printed book. Some of the features of the eReader include:

      • Page navigation
      • Auto page flip
      • Zoom
      • Full-screen view

    1. Is it possible to view eBooks based on specific subjects and formats?
      2. Yes. There are filters available in "My Bookshelf", which help you filter eBooks based on specific subjects and age ranges. In "My Bookshelf", you can choose to view eBooks by subject by clicking on a subject in the drop-down menu, "Browse by Subject". To view eBooks by age range, choose a format from the "Browse By Age" menu.
